7th April – Guided Walk to Llwyni Wood from Fourteen Locks Canal Centre, Rogerstone – Distance 3.9 miles, start time 10.00am from the Canal Centre. Difficulty: Moderate.  21st April – Bat Detector Workshop at Henderson Hall, Talybont-on-Usk.  A free workshop introducing bat detection and survey skills with a focus on lesser horseshoe bats – the iconic bat species of the Brecon Beacons.  From 5.30pm to 10pm (approx).
