Henderson Hall is the community hall for Talybont and the surrounding area. It is used for local groups and available to hire for locals and visitors alike. It is run by a group of volunteers who fund raise to help maintain the hall and pay the bills so your support in using the hall will help the whole community. You will also find the an electric car charging point, bike hub, new playground, trim trail, teen pod, playing field and one of the community orchards at this central village hub. There are picnic benches here too but please, take your rubbish home with you as we are all volunteers trying to keep the place clean and tidy for your use.
With the aid of Big Lottery Funding, the hall now boasts a smart new entrance lobby and toilets and brand new kitchen which is large and suitable for catering big events. With a good sized hall, large stage, changing rooms with showers, we offer a wide range of use and will be happy to talk to you about your requirements for any event.
Centrally located it has a large car park, with 2 fast charging points for electric cars, which we encourage visitors to the village to use as congestion can be a problem. A small honesty box can be found on the wall of the hall and your contribution is much appreciated. We now have 3 external toilets so no need to have your legs crossed! They are free use but we do ask for a small donation in our honesty box if you want to which helps with keeping them clean for everyone. 2 of the toilets offer showers (£1) for anyone coming back from an active day out and there is also one disabled toilet with baby changing facilities too. The new bike hub offers 2 bike washes which are £1 for 6 minutes which is plenty of time to wash down a couple of bikes. With our local bike shop (Bikes and Hikes) just 2 minutes away, we think we have all your cycling needs catered for! And of course, once you come back from your day, the village has a cafe, 3 pubs and a restaurant to choose from.
