The School Annex is delighted that The Brecon Beacons National Park has won its Dark Sky Status. For over a year now there has been a star gazing package available for guests at The School Annex which includes telescope, binoculars, compass, red torches to protect your night vision, sky maps, deckchairs, blankets and lots of hot chocolate!! There is no extra cost involved, just ask and it will be ready for your arrival. You can enjoy the night sky from the garden of The School Annex or it is ideally situated to get up on the hills and get a birds eye view. Just being able to see The Milky Way with your bare eyes is breathtaking. This is a great time of year to be looking at the night sky so don’t delay. There is a very warm welcome waiting for you and some very cold, starry nights to enjoy too!
