The Star Inn Talybont is holding a mini beer festival to celebrate CAMRA’s Champion Beers of Britain on April 11-12. There will be 13 real ales to celebrate all 13 winners of the award from 2000 to 2013.

St David’s Day will see a special menu with an emphasis on Welsh ingredients on March 1 and also on Friday, February 28.

Music for the last Friday in March will be the Old Gits (Brecon band). There will be music on February 28 (band tbc) too.
