Everyone is welcome to come along to the much loved live nativity in the village on December 24th. What nicer way to spend Christmas Eve than to help re enact the Christmas story by following Joseph leading Mary on a donkey through the village before ending up at a barn for a Christmas family service. In addition to readings and carols there will be a short commemoration of the 100 year Christmas Eve truce in the trenches. The procession will commence at the Market Car Park in Station Road at 5pm. If you are coming by car may we ask you to park here as the village can get very congested. It will be dark so for your safety please do bring torches. If you want to go straight to the barn for the service, it will be held at Talybont Farm (walk down the side road signed for Talybont Farm camping between the shop and The Star Inn) and the procession is expected to arrive about 5.25. No parking will be available here so please bear this in mind and park at the Market car park or at the Village Hall car park. Dress code is optional but shepherds and wise men are more than welcome!
