Countryside of Wales: responding to climate change

Countryside of Wales: responding to climate change and biodiversity issues: at the Henderson Hall, Talybont-on-Usk, followed by buffet lunch

You are invited to a Talk to be given by Professor Peter Mathews, chairman of Natural Resources Wales on  Tuesday 30th June 2015 at 11.30am.

Donations on the day to cover costs please, but pre-booking essential to 01874 676225 or email peter.seaman@btinternet.com by 20th June.

Readers may know that Natural Resources Wales (NRW) has not enjoyed the best start in life. However it should be starting to mature and develop good quality longer term policies and practices, and it will be fascinating to hear the top person describe its work and perhaps defend some decisions taken!

Professor Mathews will look in particular at our countryside and its protection, conservation and biodiversity, and then climate change and best practices that could be adopted in this area.

This talk will appeal to all who are concerned about our countryside, its biodiversity and the management of rivers and lakes.

The event is organised by the Brecon & Radnor branch of the Campaign for the Protection of Rural Wales (registered charity number 239899)
