Talybont Show 2016

Climbing wall, Owl display, pony rides, bouncy castle, face painting, traditional stalls (coconut shy, hook a duck) plus ice cream, WI teas and craft stalls – will all be the principle attractions on the playing field at this year’s show on Saturday 27^th August. There will be sports events for all, and our ever popular fancy dress, horticultural and craft competitions. We want to break the record for the number of show entries so please, please, get a show programme from the shop and have-a-go. From runner beans to the ugliest vegetable, and a scented rose to a pot plant there is something for us all. Welsh cakes, pots of chutney, bara brith, a hand-made soft toy, – come on, have a go! Bored grumpy children on wet days, then there are a number of special events guaranteed to put smiles back on their faces – handwriting, making fairy cakes and even a potato print painting.
