Funding for a ‘Student’ Energy Project – Summer 2023

Talybont Energy plans to fund a 4 week ‘student’ energy project based in our local area this
summer.

We are looking for ideas which could either help reduce our community’s energy use or
generate new energy from a sustainable source.

Projects could be in any of the following areas: domestic heating, food, transport, material
consumption, waste or leisure/tourism.

The project may research an idea or even develop it for testing.

Applications are open to students or unemployed people aged 18-25 years who are
either part or full time residents in the Talybont area or have strong links with it.

The funding will cover 20 days work carried out between July and September 2023 at a rate
of £100/day. A small amount of additional funding may also cover reasonable project costs.

The selected project will be supervised by a Talybont Energy Director and require a short
report and presentation at its conclusion.

Details of how to apply are here:

Applications close on Wednesday 31st May at 9am
