In the run up to their AGM last week, Talybont Energy ran a “Thinking Energetically” competition encouraging members of our community to come up with ideas of how to either save or generate energy. We are delighted to announce that with all votes counted, the winner was Jacob Smith (aged 8) of Canol Pentre. You can read Jacob’s prize winning entry on the Talybont Energy website.

Just a short distance from Talybont-on-Usk is Llangorse, a small village which has lake and mountain views and amazing activity opportunities including hiring boats, horse riding and zip lining from the hills. Thank you to everyone who has entered the competition so far! The competition is open until September 2019 and allows you unlimited entries, so you still have plenty of time to enter your images!
